So it starts

It's February 15th. There are 5 mos, 13 days (165 days!) until I leave for Central America. I thought I would start a blog that I could continue on my trip -- partly for the joy of journalling, partly for school purposes, and partly so my family and friends can stay informed ... if they want to. It seems more invitational than sending e-mails to people who didn't ask for the info. I really should be working on a sermon now, so I'm going to get back to that. I just wanted to introduce the idea for now.
